Such were the final words in my review of Karen A. Anderson’s original foray into the afterlife of animals.
Apparently, my sentiments were shared by many others. That is no surprise. Tell me your heart didn’t jump when reading the title of her newest book, The Pet I Can’t Forget. I’d wager that a name leapt instantly into your head, followed quickly by an image, and then a memory that made you feel warm, fuzzy, and downright nostalgic. Emotions may have flooded through your system, running all the way from grief and sadness to ebullience and joy. Ms. Anderson would tell you that is not just associative thinking but that your once favorite pet is actually present. She does not maintain this lightly or rely solely on personal experience.
