The Index Creative Challenge — $15,000 In Prizes

Hello Owls 🦉 The Index Coop is excited to introduce the Index Coop Creative Challenge! The Index community has been growing rapidly over the past few months and we’re excited to see your creative side through this event! The goal of the creative challenge is to create content and awareness for the Index Coop, all while receiving prizes in the process!

You’re encouraged to express your creativity as you create art, designs, videos, articles, music, tweets, podcasts, games, apps, dashboards, and any other creative content you want to create for this challenge.

The Prize: $15,000 worth of INDEX

Participants in the Creative Challenge are eligible to win $15,000 in prizes, where 1st place is eligible to win ~$3,500. The best submissions will be the ones that are the most creative, interesting, fun, and on-topic for Index.

Prices below are based off of the 20 day moving average of the INDEX price of $5.11 as of Sunday Dec 13th, 2020 using CoinGecko’s close price data.

• 1st: 685 INDEX ($3,500)
• 2nd: 490 INDEX ($2,503)
• 3rd: 372 INDEX ($1,900)
• 4th: 265 INDEX ($1,354)
• 5th: 170 INDEX ($868)
• 6th — 10th: 85 INDEX per winner ($434)
• 11th — 20th: 45 INDEX per winner ($230)

Retweet Raffle

In order to create early sharing and awareness, the Creative Challenge is holding a retweet raffle, where ~$500 worth of Index (100 INDEX) will be distributed to people who retweet designated tweets from the Index Coop.

• Winners — The raffle will have 20 winners, each receiving 5 INDEX.
• Designated Tweets — Designated tweets will be marked as being part of the retweet raffle from the Index Coop Twitter account.
• Raffle Length — The raffle will start when the competition starts on Monday December 14th, and end midway through on December 23rd.
• Keeping It Fair — In order to keep the raffle fair, if anyone is suspected to be cheating by using bots or creating inorganic content through fake accounts, judges will reserve the right to remove that participant from getting the prize.

Below are some ideas for inspiration on the content you can create for the creative challenge:

Creative/Fun

• Index Memes.
• Create an NFT of your submission (e.g. On Rarible)
• A video about Index.
• A song about Index.
• Paintings and drawings.

Info & Articles

• A podcast.
• Thought pieces on Index.
• Thought pieces on meta-governance.
• Thoughtful Index related tweets or articles.
• Dune analytics dashboards.
• Infographics or back tests on DPI.

Submitting

• You must follow @indexcoop.
• Create a tweet with your submission, and add #IndexChallenge for the community to find the submission. Tweets without the hashtag won’t be included for consideration.
• The best submissions will be the ones that are the most creative, interesting, fun, and on-topic for Index.

Rules

• Submissions must be respectful.
• There is no limit to the amount of submissions you can make.

Judging

• Top 5 winners — The top 5 winners will be voted on by the community on Snapshot.
• 6th — 20th — The rest of the winners will be chosen by Golden, Silver, and Bronze Owl contributors, the Set team, and the DeFi Pulse team.
