  • Soldier Technical & NA:- 167 cm
  • Soldier Clerk/SKT:- 162 cm

B).Weight:- 50 Kg for all candidates.

C).Chest:- 77 to 82 for all candidates and 1 cm dispensation for soldier technical candidates.

The candidates must complete the task in a proper pattern and within the given time or the candidates shall be rejected for the further selection procedure. Candidates who are unfit during the PFT test will not be selected for the next phase of the recruitment.

Only the candidates who have cleared the PFT under the rules and regulations set by the authorities shall be shortlisted for the next phase of the selection process which is the medical test.

Any candidate who is physically challenged or unfit is not allowed to appear the physical fitness test as the candidates have top perform the task of the test with their own responsibility.

2).Medical Test:-

It is the important test which is conducted by the authorized and qualified Military Medical Corps. personnel within the prescribed criteria of the selected candidates interm of medical state of the cadets.

The medical test are conducted regarding the following criteria:

a).Health status.

c).Oral health.

d).Eye sight.

e).Hearing Ability.

3).Written Exams:-

Among the selection stages of the recruitment process the written exams is an important test where the candidates have to appear the exams in written pattern and which is conducted based upon the various topics under the syllabus covered for the written exams.

There are various subjects that covers the written exams for the different trades of the Indian Army.

Generally the major subjects that covers the topics for the written exams are:-

a).General Knowledge(GK).

b).General Science(Physics,Chemistry,Biology).

c).Mathematics.

The written exams are conducted for certain score which is distributed according to the subject wise and the candidates are too score the required score to be able to clear the written exam.

If a candidate fails to score the required marks in any of the subjects then the candidate will be disqualified for the further shortlisting.

The total marks for which the written exams are conducted by the authorities varies among the trades.

4)Merit List:-

The final selection of the candidates are done through the merit list,the candidates who are listed in the merit list are the final selected candidates among all the other candidates who have been shortlisted for the final selection.

Those candidates who have performed well and have scored higher marks in overall test stages shall be listed in the merit list. The candidates who have scored lower marks shall be rejected because the overall marks determines the selection of the candidates.

The candidates who are listed in the merit list are then finally called up for their final training which is known as the commission training.
