Did you know gulab jamun is rumored to be made accidentally by Shah Jahan’s(famous for his Taj Mahal) personal chef. It is a famous South Asian dessert made from milk solids dipped in rose water and sugar syrup. My mom always made gulab jamun to show a token of appreciation — if we got good grades, helped her in kitchen or simply just to show her love.
