5 Ways To Remove Scarcity That Are Borderline Genius

Did you know that the average adult spends over half of their day thinking about the things that wished they had right now?
With so much physical energy being wasted day after day, year after year, you’d expect more of us to be questioning how this habit can be reversed. However, the reality for most people is that reversing the way you think can feel more like a tiresome game with you constantly trying to find ways to win at it.

So today I’ll show you 5 incredibly simple ways to remove scarcity thinking from your mind, and start using the mental space that you have now a whole lot better.
- The Mind
The mind for most people is the most frequently used muscle in the entire body. Unfortunately, that makes it the most frustrating because the mind will create stories of it’s own depending on what you think about the most. That leaves you repeating thoughts and feelings of scarcity and lack, never having enough and always needing and wanting more.
A great way to make abundance assessable to every inch of your mind without sacrificing any more of your energy is to turn your thoughts to the present moment with gratitude (and the use of what you already have). This way you can catch yourself when you’re repeating a thought that makes you feel empty, and redirect it to a feeling of gratitude for what you already. You might not have the job, or the house, or whatevs — but you do have the seeds of desire. Be grateful for that. Sometimes an idea is all you’ll ever need.
II. Use A Tool
Most people use tools like crystals, mediation, music, and yoga for answers instead of direction. Did you catch that? Most of us use inanimate objects for answers — not direction. This is not the proper way. You can use any tool like a journal or mediation to vent after a long day. But unfortunately, when the initial thought is to escape the problem instead of dissolving it, well, what you focus on will expand.
A great way to dissolve scarcity thoughts with any tool is to focus on transferring the bad energy. Detach from the feeling, and then let it go on it’s way. Set your intentions early on to release your fear, lack, doubt or worry. Know it’s all about your energy and you came to this space to release energy and renew your own. The Tool is just there to provide you with the space to do it.
III. Vibe with other people
Like attracts like, and according to the law of vibration which is a universal law, everything in the universe moves and vibrates at equal energies. How you feel and how you think is probably how 8 out of 10 of your friends feel and think. Unfortunately, when we are trying to reverse scarcity and release abundance we don’t pay much attention to this part.
A great way to make abundance assessable to every inch of your mind without hurting anyone’s feelings is to begin working, playing, and friending people who are on a higher vibration than you. You can always tell the quality of a persons vibration by the quality of their life. How carefree are they? Can they handle pressure with unbelievable amounts of control? How clear is their aura?
Vibe with people who think BIG. This will do wonders for you and cause the abundance in your own mind to show up well.
IV. Change Your Inner Conversation
For most of us changing the inner conversation is the hardest part. It’s not what you say to other people that matters, but it’s what you say to yourself that does the most help or harm. The true issue is that most people just don’t know how to change the conversation their mind is having on its own and this causes doubt that they can ever make a real change.
The best way to combat this problem is to re-write yourself a new story. Every time you catch yourself thinking a self-destructive thought, reply back to it with a positive loving one instead. If you can’t think of anything positive or loving, Google “abundance affirmation” and repeat these sentences to yourself throughout the day. It feels so good to have your mind encourage, uplift, and push you through when you don’t know how to yourself. This is exactly what you’ll get when you start changing your inner conversation — a constant cheerleader!
V. Remind Yourself Everyday
Is consistency a notoriously awkward space to you?
That’s mainly because people have the hardest time being consistent with themselves. The good news is just because that space of “do it again, do it again” holds obstacles doesn’t mean it should be condemned and forgotten about. You can do it all yourself. But you don’t have to.
By setting reminders both mentally and physically, you can keep reminding yourself daily to focus on the abundance in your life and not the scarcity within arms reach. Another neat hack is to carry small index cards with you throughout the day for a more convenient access to the new conversation you’re having with yourself. Use these cards multiple times per day. And remember, you are your own new cheerleader for an abundant mindset! If you don’t work on yourself, no one will do it for you. This is personal.
As always, I’ll see you in the next post.
