A dream

A fragment of imagination

A distant memory

This is where I find you the closest to reality. Reality, on the other hand, seems more like a dream now. It’s always dragging me down with its dark fierce paws. I guess, you were the one who dragged me out of it every time I decided to succumb.

How things change!

The very idea of light and darkness is entwined with people in our lives.

There are people who bring light when they are with us , and then there are those super humans who continue to brighten our life even when they stop existing.

Their kindness and softhearted-ness is our driving force.

Their sensitivity inspires us to be a better person.

Their love connects us to the higher being.

And just like that, all we remember is their angelic side. The dark side goes way back into the background.

It’s ironic how easy it is to see good in the ones we’ve lost. It’s like we want to verify our existence in the light of the good, everything else seems secondary.

The rules for exist-ers and non-exist-ers are certainly different.

The common presumption is that the time heals wounds.

The uncommon — read my perception — is that you just get used to the wound. You know it’s there, you know it’s a part of you and you accept it as a part of your existence. As a very wise friend once told me in her life coaching session, in order to survive a change, you have to be the change. And that wound is the initiator of change. Accepting and acknowledging it liberates us in the face of the pain.

If you’re lucky like me, you’ll find a reason to rise from the ashes.

A hope

A light at the end of the tunnel

A prayer
