Did You Just See Yourself In That Classroom?

Try walking past your kid’s classroom, and you will get to hear a variety of noises - a certain familiar echo of the huge classroom, a chirpy monotone of kids' voices, the sound of the fan, the high pitch of the teacher, the elephantine pillars rebounding these noises, and you hear the sound of your own class from the past. Don’t you?
These classroom sounds are visual. Extremely visual.
They show you sitting at a desk exchanging pens with the girl sitting next to you. She wants the same pen as you do but you promise to get her favorite snack the next day, and the deal gets settled. All this while you have been ignoring the teacher who was trying to get your attention. Now that you notice her glaring at you over her thick glasses, you smile feebly and look at your notebook.
All in a brief moment of just walking past.
Your little child will soon grow up to be the same student you just saw exchanging pens and settling deals with friends.
Memories take long to build, but don’t they just drag you back in a second?
