Each Day Doesn’t Matter, Every Day Does

[95/100]

Born in the 1960s, the Vicious Frieze I (1987) could only be a product of its time.

“Their children hate them for the things they’re not/they hate themselves for what they are.”
Carly Simon, “That’s the Way I Always Heard It Should Be”

With five more days to go, I’m going to sprint it.

This heading? I guess what I meant (wrote it down at 4 a.m.) is that “each day” is a construct of a future that may or may not happen — so how could it matter? But every day I do the work: the writing, the drawing, any movement of the ball down the field — that’s when the time matters. It becomes a quick glance in the rear-view mirror and “Whoa — that was some stretch of road we just blew through!

So, I guess if you’re worried about input, try going for output first.

Now I’d better get crackin’ on that…
