You can achieve great things in your life by being indistractable and focusing on one thing. To be indistractable, follow these steps:

1. Know Yourself

“Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom.” - Aristotle

If you don’t know yourself, who is going to do it? Knowing yourself is the way to know distractions. So here are steps to know yourself:

  1. Senses awareness: Seeing, hearing, touching, tasting, smelling will be determining your thoughts. Thoughts determine actions. Actions become habits.
Habits determine life. So know what is distracting you.
  2. Goals awareness: If you don’t have goals you’ll be distracting. Discover your goals by asking these questions: What are your goals? Why are you having them? What are you doing now? If you don’t ask yourself, the answer is no!

2. Digital Minimalism

Sophisticated algorithms are developed to hook humans to get benefits! Algorithms will be sending notifications and recommendations which are distracting our mind. So turning off notifications and recommendations will help us to be indistractable to achieve greatness in life. Steps to digital minimalism:

  1. Turn off unnecessary notifications: Go to your mobile settings and turn off floating, lock screen notifications and notification badges.
  2. Turn off irrelevant recommendations: Turn off the unwanted e-mails, messages and promotions. If you installed a new app on your mobile, be sure to check out and turn off unnecessary recommendations.
  3. Use focus mode: Download Digital Wellbeing app to customise your productive hours for being indistractable and more productive at your workplace.

Overall, these steps will be helping you to be indistractable. So taking action on it is a great way to achieve greatness in your life. Daily actions will become habits and that will determine your future. Choose to be yourself, choose to care for yourself, choose to build yourself, and choose to grow yourself. Choose wisely!
