Ideas.

Sometimes we get ideas. They come out of nowhere and just somehow jump into your mind.

Ideas are great. They are the manifestation of our individual personalities and passions. The majority of people who have an idea, don’t take action or make an effort to turn it into reality. That’s the truth. Other’s, who are ambitious enough and who have adequate faith in the idea, work hard to make it real. These are the entrepreneurs you hear about each day.

But where does this idea come from? Does it just happen to jump into your mind or was it there all along? Did something happen in order for it to surface in the first place?

When trying to implement an idea into action many entrepreneurs, artists (could be anyone) try to find the best way to give it a shape, to make it real. However, many make the mistake and worry so much about the “How” and not the “Why”. The proactive steps and efforts that you make in order to make your idea happen is solely driven by your own individual motivation or ambition.

At the end of the day you don’t think about the technical steps in order to make it happen, you think about how it will work out and look like once it’s done, and whether it is going to serve the same purpose as it did in your mind.

Focusing on the “How” alone, and slowly forgetting about the “Why” can destroy your ambition for it, which eventually leads you to give up, because you have lost sight of what is truly important.

The thing about creation is that it’s never entirely in your hands. There are always some kind of influences (internal or external) that somehow give the idea a different shape than you initially imagined it would be. Therefore, the reason and motivation when doing something always overpowers the end result.

So, the next time you have an idea, don’t necessarily just think about how you can bring it forward and how you can take it to the next step but rather think about why you had it in the first place. How can it help your friends, your family, society, yourself? Let this be your main source of motivation and the rest will manifest itself in it’s own way.
