One Day They Will Know

One day the Republican lawmakers will get a taste of the effects their party’s policies bring to the people.

One day one of them is going to lose someone they so love because the option of abortion isn’t made known to them.

One day one of their homes’ will get its water supply contaminated as a proof that karma does bite back.

One day one of them is going to be hit by a natural disaster because God only punishes those who sin a certain way, so they believe.

One day one of them is going to lose their house and fortune because of higher level fraud.

One day one of them is going to lose their health and realise that even all the wealth in the world can’t buy it back.

And the list goes on.

What goes around comes around, folks. When you put a limit on others, one day that limit’s gonna come back and find you.

I bear no malice, just anger towards everything that has gone wrong and the people who are responsible.

These people aren’t ignorant, you know. In this day and age, knowledge and information are everywhere.

These people are greedy.

They are acting on the impulse to do whatever to fill the emptiness or sense of lack they have in their hearts, at the expense of others who do not have the power to fight back.

They are greedy because they don’t have to do what that they are doing but they do it anyway just so they can feel a little bit taller and a little more righteous.

But one day, their greed is going to become the end of them.

One day they will become their own worst enemy and oppressor.

One day, they will know.
