Puppet of stars

-By Sania Jain

What about a teeny tiny chance our parents picked up a wrong date?

“Look they are in your favor” says everyone.

“Look! I don’t give a damn” I say to all.

Just because a ball of gases has decided to tilt a bit doesn’t mean I can’t do what I aspire for. Maybe the star is tired of posing the same for soo many years, maybe it needs some rest. Give it a break people!

No bunch of stars are going to decide who I will be, what I will do, who will I love. They simply can’t. Because I wont allow them!

you cannot do this stuff child, it’s not in your stars”

“I was wandering if I can breathe, is it in my stars?”

Centuries have passed, technology is ruling the world then why people choose to submit to the decisions made by some heavenly bodies. Is it soo hard to understand that it’s you who rule your life, it’s you who has to live it, it’s you who has to decide?

I already have decided for myself before some crappy star interfere in my life and fill me with doubts to the core of my soul. Doubts about my decision.

“I do not see much study in your stars” said a mother to her son after being swayed by some astrologer. The son with a shrunken heart said “ok mom, then I guess there is no use of putting any hardwork coz at the end stars won’t allow me to study”

Bullshit!

Completely bullshit.

I believe we become human only once. Then why giving control of your life to some astronomical alignments. Be brave enough to take your decisions. Be bold enough to face it’s consequences. Be smart enough to live the one life you have with the people you love without any heavenly interference.

I deny to be controlled by stars. I deny to be its puppet and spend my life in fear as to when it will shift it’s direction. I am taking control.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
