Reflecting upon Lear

Fourth, the Conclusion.

‘I am dragged along by a strange new force. Desire and reason are pulling in different directions. I see the right way and approve it, but follow the wrong.’ ~Ovid.
  • May some misguided dream
bid us retreat, as from the shores of Troy
and return to our beloved homes.
    Or, be as such
some bastard son may us to prison
wherein we’ll sing like caged birds
    ask for each other
    blessing and forgiveness,
    yonder living, praying, singing
reciting old tales and crafting new.
    A prison, whence no further
    and rot even there.
We’ll wear out the sects of greaters
that wax and ebb by the moon,
and vital flow halting by noon.

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
