Things I learned from my failures.
Its not necessary to make mistakes or fail yourself to learn the lessons. We can always learn from others failures and mistakes, which saves a lot of your time. So, here are few things I learned from my mistakes and at time of failures.
- It is not necessary to make mistakes, Its not necessary to fail either to become successful.
I have grown up hearing the stories of people becoming successful, becoming rich from poor and getting into good shape from bad conditions. these stories are the most available ones, and most popular. I had everything perfect in my life, perfect family, not so bad financial conditions, and everything was just perfect. And I used to feed myself with the thought that I would not achieve great things if I didn’t suffer or be miserable. There was a stage when I tried to make myself miserable by isolation and so many other weird ways. Not just that it made my life a hell, it never paved way for anything better. So if you are having good things in your life, cherish them and try to get better along with those assets. If you are in any poor situations; mentally, physically, financially or any other forms, take inspiration from those stories.
A better solution to making your mind set in a good way is by reading books or watching shows or being with people who gives out positive vibes. Avoid conversations and arguments that never result in any conclusion but just disturb your mind.
2. Success in any form and any field takes time and effort.
I often thought that the real success happens only naturally and by coincidence. No, it is not true. Everything takes effort, huge efforts from your true self to meet success or to work it out. The main event that got me largely confused is about the concept of Love. I truly believed in falling in love and being in love as a passive thing to happen in life. But it’s not. Maybe falling in love can happen that way but maintaining a relationship, relationship of any kind takes effort.
Another false concept I believed is about knowledge. When I was getting good marks and understanding concepts easily, I thought it should come to someone naturally. But that was a big mistake. I have failed miserably in many events by not preparing enough or just being overconfident.
3. Do not commit mistakes consciously. Never cheat your conscience.
when you are well aware that something is wrong, never overthink to develop hope of working it out. If you are 100 per cent sure something is not good for you, just don’t do it!
4. Learn it perfect the first time. Stop learning halfway.
Practice makes it perfect. But just don’t learn the new skills halfway or just the part that is necessary to fulfill your current need. Give your best at the first try, you always have time to improve. Procrastinating about doing it perfect the next time might make yourself comfortable with the mediocre work.
5. Stop using free resources while you are unemployed.
There are many people who loves us, our family and friends just don’t want to see us struggling in life. But be careful not to get comfortable taking money and other resources. It might help in making yourself lazy and comfortable in your miserable stage.
6. Get out of that easy laziness zone now!
There is no right time to start doing anything. If you have an idea, start working towards it right now. Each and every little step counts towards that long run you are aiming at.
7. Having a routine is not boring, its fruitful.
Don’t be misguided by the myths about directionless lifestyle. It is always good to follow a routine in many areas. For example, getting up at a particular time, setting a time table for your work or study. Routines are best for keeping track on your progress.
8. Don’t loose yourself trying to fit in the stupid “cool guy” regime.
There are lot of fake or false interpretations about being cool and smart. The lifestyle portrayed in different social medias and videos of few minutes are not the only phases in life. Don’t feel sad that your life doesn’t resemble those photographs. Its okay to be real and live in the moment and without comparing yourself to anyone else.
9. Health is very important, take good care of it.
Out of all the blessings in life, Health is the primary and most important one. A healthy mind creates positive thoughts and a healthy body implements it at its best. Chances of overfeeding yourself when you are down or stressed is usual. Being in that lazy comfortable position watching videos and scrolling down is easy. But make an effort to get up and walk around. Take time to work out and eat healthy. It just makes so much difference.
10. Never ever give up.
It’s never wise to give up on things. If you have will and confident about the outcome, just don’t let go of it because of the wrong circumstances. You never know when conditions change. Also, its not wrong to let go of things that are not working out. Having a backup plan is always good.
