Wait some minutes; He just needs to talk

Since I was a little kid, I have told that we have to try to be kind, and by time, I forgot many things! Yes, I forgot how to be kind, how to enjoy spending time with people, how to love strangers, how to spend the time to listen to them.

All of us saw people who are beside streets and ask for money, cloth, safe place, or even food, etc. What do we say? Why do we quickly pass away from them without listening to them?

Some days ago, I was walking down a crowded street, I saw an old man who looked like a poor person, it seemed that he was sick, he was walking slowly and passed from me, I saw him, I passed away! I passed away from him and stopped and looked back; I saw he was moving slowly, and I was not doing anything, I had time, money and the power to help him; Then what happened to me? Obdurate & Apathetic — I called myself.

After some days of thinking about it, I tried to ask what is our most significantly different between ordinary/rich people, and poor people? Is it money? Is not that shameful we just run away from people who may need our help just because we are afraid of spending some money! What if they are really hungry! You can buy him/her food, if don’t want to give him some cash

We have always heard that “no one become poor by giving,” but at all, I’m not talking about giving them money, I’m just talking to myself that “Man! You should not run away when you see someone needs your help, and you should talk with him.” Now I decided to walk slower when I see a person beside the street, maybe one of them who is asking for help just needs to talk with someone. Let’s be kind and peaceful again, like what we were in childhood. And at the end, I always should remember that people should be more important for us regardless of their gender, skin color and wealth.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
