We are all half hominid

Wonder Woman, a film with a message.

My compliments to the screenwriters, the director, the actors and actresses, and the rest of the team that worked to create this excellent piece of art.

As for my interpretation of its symbolic meaning, of which it may have several, I find it believable and very likely that most of the angels who did not fall were female.

Perhaps this imaginative story deserves a review of its own. But a very interesting idea arises from a combination of the discoveries of geneticists and paleoanthropologists with the ideas that are found in the book The Divine Principle.

If we begin from the hypothesis that angels, traditionally considered to be exclusively spiritual beings, also had a material, physical body during their time on earth, then we can compare them to the thousands or millions of hominids that populated the earth in the past.

Since the day that the first Australopithecus began to walk upright three million years ago until the last Neanderthal went extinct, just thirty thousand years ago, many species of hominids with different levels of spiritual and mental development arose.

As I was saying, if we cross this scientific data along with the interpretation of the fall of our first sapiens sapiens ancestors, we can reflect on this as much as we want. It seems as if the original fall was caused by Eve and the alpha male of her tribe or group. Although this pairing could have led to a pregnancy, that is not the point. The point is that our first ancestors could have got the bad habit of mixing with the hominids they met on the road from Eden.

And apparently, this would have continued throughout the expansion of humans across the continents. We should remember that before the expansion of sapiens sapiens, other hominids had already followed the path of the Nile and spread across the continents, surely many millennia before the descendants of Adam and Eve colonized them.

So does the thesis of the film make sense? Keeping in mind what is said in Chapter 1 of The Divine Principle about the association of spiritual and physical beings, based on what happens here on earth, does it make sense to say that there could have been a repetition of the model of the fall, with the pairing of male hominids with the descendants of Eve more often than the opposite case, human males with females from different hominid species?

I may be overstepping my bounds. Just in case, we’ll leave it here and wait for science, if the time comes, to have its say.
