Wish Fulfillment

When you are stuck in one place, you 
have good reason to get out of your mind.
Poetry provides the wings to fly away.
Escape captured in the fewest, best words.
A way of making more from nothing.
An image of an image imagining itself.
You become what you write down and say.
Leave the puppet life in the distance.
Leaping off the mundane merry go round,
you summon up the genie of language
and wish to be some other way.
Better to be a dreamer than a dullard.
Better to live in Never Land than today.
