Threats Posed to Sanatan Dharma | Fortifying Sanatan Dharma | Revolutionary Steps by Morari Bapu

This is Part 1 of (5) part series. Links to linked stories provided in footnote¹.

Introduction

I feel a strong push from within to present an ‘as is’ analysis of the recent conspiracy crafted against Morari Bapu in India by making only a few seconds of his following video clip of 28:09 minutes viral. My analysis of the same can be found here.

Lord Krishna’s pain during last 26 years of His life on this earth, in Morari Bapu’s words

A 30 second video clip of the same video has been made viral in May 2020 with apparently malicious intent of instigating Hindus among themselves and defame Bapu, who leads a monk-like life. This one-sided controversy has been put to end with Bapu apologizing four times to people, communities and religious institutes across India. Thrice on live television.

Threats Posed to SanatanDharma

I believe this would make the Sanatani Hindus bond stronger than ever and unite them to fight for the common goal i.e. Sanatan Dharma, against the imposters disguising themselves as fake saviors of Hinduism in order to promote their professionally run sects.

Few of such fake sects are barely 200 hundred odd years old and created by a self-made god-men. It’s noteworthy that such sects (aka Sampraday) were severely criticized by medieval saints for deviating from Vedas. Their time and again conspiracies and immature acts only reflect their insecurity in failing to establish their roots in India. As for others who have joined hands with them are only making hay while the sun shines.

Therefore perhaps, they raised an objection on the above three year old video clip NOW!

If people truly care about Sanatan Dharma, there are other pressing issues to show aggression. I would like to humbly ask them, where are they when Sanatan Dharma still continues to be attacked by such elements of the society?

Immature and Naïve Acts of Fake Sects!

Truth be told, the so called sects have spared no opportunity to demean and belittle Sanatan Dharma by insulting Hindu Gods & Goddesses like Ram, Krishna, Shankar, Ganga, Sarasvati, Yamuna, Durga, Lakshmi etc. again and again not only in their grand temples, but also in their discourses.

In one of the cases, they have been fooling foreign dignitaries through the ritual of ‘Nilkanth Abhishek’.

It should be noted that the ritual of Abhishek (anointment) in Sanatan Dharma is predominantly associated with Lord Shankar since time immemorial. Also, Lord Shankar is called as ‘Nilkanth’ because He consumed the most poisonous venom called ‘Halahal’ when the ocean was churned and held it in His throat forever, which eventually turned His throat blue (‘Nil’ means blue and ‘Kantha’ means throat). Hence, the name ‘Nilkantha’. Sanatan Dharma has enough evidence to prove this point.

These sects are trying to establish its fake religion by pulling the true Sanatanis down who are objecting them. Their acts are reflection of their own insecurity and it is high time they stop projecting their insecurity on others.

Read the truth of one such sect on Captain Ajit Vadakayil’s blog here.

Fortifying Sanatan Dharma

Morari Bapu’s contribution to fortify Sanatan Dharma has been peerless. Time and again through his discourses, he has been fearlessly lashing out on the imposters of Santan Dharma, directly or indirectly. It is high time now for Hindu authoritarians to come together and raise their objection in one voice.

The duty of four Shankaracharyas representing AdiShankara, who are entrusted with the primary responsibility of preserving and protecting Sanatan Dharma, becomes paramount in this situation. Their statements on such childish acts of the said sects have been by far diplomatic and politically correct. Least they can do is create awareness among ordinary people about such acts. I wonder if they are doing enough of their duty!

On another note, Sanatan Dharma is like the sky and sky does not perish, neither does it need protection. It has prevailed since time immemorial. It is my strong belief that even if Sanatan Dharma gets harmed or reaches the path of decline, ever in future, the Universe will intervene to restore its glory, as it has done over ages. Lord Krishna & Ram have promised in Gita and Ramayan respectively that they would bear an incarnation time to time to protect the saints and restore the virtues of righteousness in this world.

However, this does not mean that we do not act on the attempts being made to tarnish its glory.

Morari Bapu During A Discourse

Few Revolutionary Steps by Bapu

Morari Bapu has been the first person to make several historic and revolutionary moves in India and abroad, which has made a difference:

  • The weapons were replaced with flowers from the hand’s of Lord Ram’s idol in a temple in his hometown Talgajarda, to pass the message of love and non-violence to the world.
  • A 9 day discourse on crematory, to break the notion of fear, inauspiciousness and dreadfulness associated with crematories.
  • Two 9 day recitals, one each for the sex-workers and the transgenders’ communities in India, to bring them back to the mainstream society.
  • A 9 day discourse on the subject of death, to ease out people’s acceptance of death which is an inevitable incident.
  • A 9 day discourse was recited in Jerusalem as homage to Jesus Christ; another 9 day in Athens in the memory of Greek philosopher Socrates
  • One more 9 day recital was held in Kyoto, Japan to discuss Zen philosophy; yet another 9 day discourse in Hiroshima was devoted to offer homage to the lives lost during nuclear bombing.
  • Few others were held in Muslim dominated countries like Wadi Rum, Abu Dhabi, Dubai etc.
  • Several recitals were devoted to building toilets, hospitals etc. or for contributing for natural calamities like Tsunami, floods, earthquake etc.

These are very few of his endeavors. He has unsettled the norm and challenged the morality at times. He has broken conservative barriers and stagnant beliefs, replacing them with more flowing traditions (pravahi-parampara).

The length, breadth and depth of his activities and innovation are unfathomable. If one does a research on his journey of life in entirety, you would be surprised to know that he has accomplished several hundreds or more years of work in one lifetime, single-handedly.

He has reached out to the last man of the society. When his discourses are held in villages, he prefers taking evening meals at a poor person’s hut. No single day goes without visiting a poor’s hut. No rural visit is complete without visiting a poor’s hut. He has reached out to the poorest of the poor, whom we as a society have ignored. This is his normal. Such visits are not only common India, but also abroad. In return, not only does he gift them with the necessities, but much more which money can’t buy.

The scope of his thoughts is so vast that no single person, no last man, no poorest individual is ever left out from his vision. He has never discriminated on the basis of caste, class, community or religion.

He has no religious institute or organization running in his name. Neither does he plan to pass on his legacy to anyone else. He is a sole traveler of life and lives a detached monk-like life.

Having observed him for a while, I have also never seen him being rigid or obstinate, He has always been adjusting, adaptable and flexible enough as the underlying situation demands. He is easy going and uncomplicated. Utmost sensitive of his responsibility towards the society and his domain of duty, He flows through life as easily as a river.

His life is a real-time implementation and execution of his preaching.

My Take!

Morari Bapu has always boldly stood & spoken for the truth, even if there was no one by his side. The Universe also expects the same from him. And truth eventually culminates into being left isolated.

He could have easily proved his point in defense to the above conspiracy, but he chose to remain silent, apologized and continued his worship. Time and energy are best invested in spiritual practice, than arguments.

Spirituality teaches us about being inclusive and being inclusive is about respecting and accepting diverse viewpoints, without demeaning others.

I have presented the truth based on factual information and general observation as a third person, in response to the recent spiritual upheaval in India (precisely May 2020). My objective is to make people aware of the facts. I am not pronouncing any verdict. I leave it to the readers to take their own decision based on their wisdom and discretion.
