VP Spotlight: Neil Gupta

Neil Gupta has been part of our team at Indicator for almost three years now, and his expertise with frontier technology has helped us with everything from sourcing new investments to diligencing new opportunities in emerging industries. Neil’s experience is wide-ranging, yet he has always had a passion for design thinking and data-driven decision making which has made him a valuable asset for our fund over the years.

Neil was formerly at Draper Labs and Bridgewater Associates, after having received his M.S in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. Neil also spent some time as a Senior Product Manager at eBay. He is constantly working with a variety of large corporations on projects, initiatives, and strategy related to VR/AR, Internet of Things, and the transition from products to services. Most recently, Neil was a Product Marketing Manager at Bose, where he delivered detailed corporate strategy for the development of the Bose AR platform. Outside of consulting for different companies, he is also the founder of BostonAR, a nonprofit augmented reality accelerator dedicated to growing the frontier technology ecosystem in Massachusetts.
