The Indicoin Foundation is committed to upholding the best interests of its supporters. As such, we decided early on that late or subthreshold contribution along with the amount of ether equivalent used in purchasing the tokens in token swap could be returned if the contributors so desired after a strict verification and investigation from the legal authorities which we have sought help from.
Doing so securely is a trivial endeavor. It is not enough to “just refund or swap” the addresses as some contributions may originate from exchanges or, in the case of Ethereum, smart contracts or bots. The security model of the swap is based on the ownership of private keys, not on contributing addresses. Therefore, the INDI development team has been working on developing a secure website for contributors who fell below the limit or contributed too late to ask for their contributions back along with few who bought during the breach though it is trivial to identify the legitimate claim though we have identified an easy and secure way to satisfy our genuine community members.
The application will let contributors sign a refund request with their NEW private key. The refund request will contain Bitcoin and Ethereum addresses of the contributor’s choosing to receive their funds back. What’s more, contributions that fell below 0.1 BTC but above 0.05 BTC will have the option of either being refunded or being counted towards the recommended allocation. Contributors who contributed above the threshold but also made subthreshold Bitcoin transactions will also have the opportunity to request a refund for these transactions.Contributors who contributed during the breach in etherdelta have been refunded the amount equivalent in ether to the genuine request
Much like the previous swap processes after the breach this new method has been developed after the guidelines of the legal authority, it will be possible to use this application on an air-gapped computer.
We will collect the signed requests in a first phase, ensure there are no issues with the requests, and then proceed to send reimbursements or swap. We appreciate your patience with this process. Security is our first priority.
In total,
247 wallets had at least one Bitcoin transaction below 0.1 BTC for a total of 12.93 bitcoin.
27 Ethereum transactions fell below the threshold for a total of 8.54 ether.
14 wallets had pending verification as they had interactions with bots and smart contract, late Bitcoin contributions for a total of 0.46 bitcoin.
In total, swappable ETH contributions represent less than 0.01% of the total amount of bitcoin contributions and refundable late and minimum Ethereum contributions less than 0.025% of the total amount of ether contributions.
KYC FOR PENDING TOKEN SWAP
As already mentioned, we have completed our Token swap. There is few more pending transaction which will need further investigation before their token swap can be done. They will have to go through extensive KYC process as suggested to us by the legal authorities following a breach. We have already swapped the tokens from all the investors and sent the token to the equivalent amount of ETH invested. Some of the verification is pending because of the fake claims and external interactions which has been deducted by the legal authorities and we have been told to follow this process. This process will be completed within 8 hours of this notice.
The token swap is already over for the buyers from delta who provided the genuine transaction id before the notice was in circulation.
Token claimers will have to abide by the following guidelines compulsorily.
1. Turn up for a verification on a skype call or record a video and send the old INDI tokens live to the provided address by @infoindicoin telegram handle.
2. Fill out the following google form (if Transaction ID Address Screenshots already submitted the nor applicable)
3. Submit a national Identity proof.
4. All these have to be done on face to face basis, or live photo clicks along with the ID in the picture.
5. Verification of the Live Location of the Individual that has to be done. The live location of the individual will have to be sent on telegram on @infoindicoin handle.
The token swap for these transactions will be done after pending verification and investigations through the above-mentioned process which we have developed on a predecided block time.
