London based songstress, MeaKoom drops stunning new visuals (Directed by Shem Lawrence & Keri-Luke Campbell) for “Smile” in collaboration with the Blackmale Beats production duo. The video features several creative friends (poets, photographers, graphic designers etc.) of the artist while delivering uplifting and positive imagery. The singer croon’s “I love It when you smile, the sun don’t hurt my eyes” and evokes similar emotions I felt hearing vocalists like Gabrielle in my youth.

The soulful arrangement is stamped with rhythmic drums and sweet horns that compliment the singer’s sultry vocals, alongside the additional guest feature from enigmatic vocalists, TRDTN. This particular single provides great insight into themes and concepts that may end up being explored further on her next solo project. Her debut song “For You From Me (Produced by Spacedtime)” was released last year following the dissolve of her former outfit (The Kemistry) and is accompanied by slick visuals (directed by Lime Tree Productions). “Smile” is available to stream and download globally on iTunes, Spotify & other digital outlets.
