#SeeTheBoy is an ultra short film starring Bryce Meriweather written, directed, and edited by Eulonda Kay Lea. She is a filmmaker, writer, and producer. The composition is created and performed by Chad Eric Smith. He is an actor, musician, writer, and director.

According to Eulonda, her goal as a filmmaker was to create a film which imagines that every day in the park is a perfect one for young African American males, regardless of the context of their situation. The minuet I saw her film, I felt like I was looking in a mirror at how things should be. I’m hoping that this film can open the minds of all people with or without guns. I hope that if they see this film, they will get a different perspective and a better outlook on the world around them and how they see people.

Fear is torment, and it seems people have been living in fear all of their lives because of shootings everywhere. For that reason, some children can’t even go out and play and live their lives as children. So when we watch this film, #SeeTheBoy, we should watch it in prayer, and ask God for wisdom how to make this a better world together.
