IndieBio is excited to announce a partnership with the Stanford Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES) competition, committing to offer a place in the fall 2016 cohort and accompanying $250k investment to the best biotechnology proposal.

BASES has been operating since 1995 and has helped scores of companies find take off velocity. The competition runs annually from February to early May. Any Stanford student or alumnus can enter.

Stanford BASES has historically been a rich venue for new companies in broader tech. IndieBio will likely be focused on foodtech, biotechnology and 21st century healthcare applications.

More than just a single pitch event BASES helps over a hundred applicants a year refine their pitch, business plan and technology. We are looking forward to helping out in the two judging rounds as well as some Office Hours for Entrepreneurs.

Hope to see you there!
