How to — Take a video interview
When you receive an invitation for a video interview, it might be a good idea to take a look at what’s waiting for you. Here we captured how it looks like in Indivizo.
Try to record a test video interview as soon as possible to test your equipment and experience the full process. Here you will get sample questions and the answers won’t be saved. This won’t be recorded.
By the time you receive your invite, the video questions have already been written for you. Now it’s your turn to answer them whenever it suits you until the specified deadline, which you can find in the invitation email.
All you need is a camera, a microphone, and a quiet place with a solid internet connection. Mobiles and tablets aren’t supported yet. (Though we are working on it.) You can do as many test recordings as you want to warm up and see how your equipment is working. After checking your computer and webcam comes the actual interview with real questions. This part you can make only once.
Do not think that anyone is expecting a perfect act to the camera! What matters is that you show your honest self and your talents. This way, you can really show yourself and not just your CV.
