Hormones are managed by what you eat, the food you consume can either balance or imbalance your hormones. As a general statement, Any excess or deficiency in hormones is bad for your health. But the focus of this content is to explain how to handle an excess in them.

Food among other elements can alter how hormones work, and fiber helps getting rid of the surplus hormones. In normal conditions, the liver continually works to help remove any extra or unwanted element in the body, including the extra hormones. With the help of the gallbladder which stores the bile ( a yellow-green colored liquid that helps digest fat ), the food arrives in the intestinal tract, and that’s when fiber comes in to assist the body to flush away any extra element that is harmful; among them, we find unwanted hormones.

So what happens if the unwanted hormones are not removed from the body?

They end up being transferred in the bloodstream back to the liver and the process keeps repeating itself. That means that the excess of hormones will pile up in your body. And that will result in a hormone imbalance.

Hence eating enough amount of fiber will help you stabilize your body’s hormones.
