There are so many cool things around: drones, smartwatches, self-driving cars, etc. What we have in store for you is even cooler (in our opinion anyways). We wanted to give you a quick overview of our favourites!

10. Google Home

The new Google home is a voice-activated speaker powered by Google Assistant. It’s your own assistant and search engine, ready to help! You activate Google Home by saying ‘’OK Google’’ followed by your question, it’s super easy! You can ask question or make commands. ‘’OK Google: tell me how to make pancakes.’’

Everybody knows about Amazon’s Echo, but what makes Google Home better? Even though Echo has a lot of tricks up its sleeve due to it’s longer experience, Google Home appears to be more intelligent. Another area which Google Home dominates is its general aesthetic. And lastly: Google Home lets you continue a dialog (‘’How much milk do I add?), while Alexa (Echo) sees everything as a new question/task.

9. Xbox project Scorpio

Project Scorpio: the new optimised Xbox, due to be launched late 2017.

This beautiful piece of tech is anticipated by many. The Xbox is specifically designed for gamers that value performance above all.

“We think the future is without console generations,” Greenberg, head of games marketing at Engadget said. “We think that the ability to build a library, a community, to be able to iterate with the hardware — we’re making a pretty big bet on that with Project Scorpio.

8. Solu: Smallest general purpose computer

Solu is a pocket-sized general-purpose computer connected to the cloud

Solu is a super interesting gadget that shows how a cloud-linked computer could work. There is no need for extra back-ups or a harddrive, it’s all in the cloud! You can zoom in and organise all your projects and applications by using simple, natural gestures. It can be used as a stand-alone device, or you can connect it to a screen and keyboard.

7. Osmo: gaming system

Osmo is a gaming system for iPad

Osmo has an amazing system which encourages social intelligence and creative thinking. They do this through combining kids love for iPads with physical games. No: they will be drawing, arranging and doing stuff!

6. Deeper: portable fishfinder

There are many fish in the pond

Fish-fanatics get your equipment: with this piece of wireless gear you can detect where the fish are! You can connect it to your phone or other device with bluetooth, and get real-time stats. No, fish? No problem. You can check across the pond to see if you’ll be more lucky:)

5. 360fly action camera

Yes: the action cam is also water proof!

The 360fly action cam is not just a golf-ball like go-pro. This unique design is easily portable. It’s camera is looking straight up, which may seem a bit unpractical, but the end-product looks super cool. The video’s are also 360! This means you can move and drag the picture to see left and right! You can watch all recorded video’s in the app on your phone, where you can edit and share it immediately!

4. Luna: smart mattress cover

This tiny robot is your new best friend: but better! Cozmo never gets tired of playing. All you need is a compatible Android or IOS phone. Your friend loves exploring, and makes decisions based on its mood. How cool is that!

1. Tile Slim Bluetooth Tracker

Easily find your laptop, wallet and keys back!

This may be my personal all-time favourite. Living in a big city is super nice, but you are always worried about your valuables. This little gadget ensures I can track them at any time! You can attach the tile to anything: even your keychain! You use the app to manage the tiles and if you’ve lost an item you can make the tile play a tune to easily find it! You can also see it’s last-known location. If this is not a must have then I don’t know what is.
