Using the bot,
OpenAI’s ChatGPT,
a fear of losing my creativity — and I’ve yet
forgotten
to italicize, which wouldn’t
— DIDN’T —
do.

ChatGPT has over 180.5 million users globally as of June 2024.

And The World Population?

8.1 billion and
counting
, according to the Worldometer.
👇👇

That makes only 0.02% of the world population
who’ve jumped onto this trend
thus far.

But that’s not my point.

I just enjoy
being part of it.

NOTE: I'm actually quite more conflicted about the
whole thing than that. Either way, all writing I publish
on this site, or under this name online will NOT
make use of AI, at the exception of aiding
with research, which will be verified personally.
Any further exceptions will be clearly labeled, and if on Medium,
demonitized.

I even completed the assessment to train chatbots via DataAnnatoation projects.

Except for now I’m under the impression they’re going to block my input from impacting the training data entirely, and all because I unintentionally fed it a story I wrote which APPEARED to hint at hentai in the protagonist’s near future—

All because my human narrator picks up an exceptionally green octopus from work, and proclaims “We’re going home, baby.”

That’s how it ends.

My summary is lazy and inaccurate, but you have the meaningful part. I just didn’t think about it at the time!!!!

Just try laughing about crumbling cookies now, eh?

But that IS the way the cookie crumbles!!!

I’m infuriated—

Signing off, I appreciate you, and take care.

Heyy, I’m still alive!!

Or just ‘alive’, if you’re reading me for the first time. Either way — we’re nearing another publishing spree!!

This time, I’ll be adapting a page from Lucy’s — Lucy Dan 蛋小姐 (she/her/她)’s, unless you know her like I do, which is actually probably not as much as I believe — book, and tapping into old drafts I can publish without the pressure or risk of revealing too much in the moment, before I’m sure precisely what I’m communicating.

I like her a lot. 🙂

Enjoy—

To The Future Me, In Three Months: Hello
a poem and a writing challenge

I’m sure all the most intelligent Medium writers have figured this out much sooner, or at least, when they received the advice, executed on it without delay — but for some reason, I’ve always refused to partake.

Until this very day!!

I don’t know why everything always needed to reflect what was going on with me at the time. It probably didn’t, and I was just being frivolous, and uncaring with my content.

Truth is, only a couple months into trying out this strategy — this being my first release of the kind — and I do rather much prefer it.

Even with the afternotes you’re reading now.

Plus, I’ve unlisted the 164 minute long compilation of drafts from 2023, published in February, which had managed to accrue 16 whole readsWITH ENGAGEMENT — despite the fact I tried making it a sure ‘skip’ for the majority of readers who might come by.

The Point

I’ll be picking my favourite drafts, including some of the more appreciated bits according to other people, possibly developing them further, then releasing them all as part of my upcoming publishing spree.

Oh, yes.

It’s coming.

Anyway, I’ll be back soon. I appreciate you, and take care.

Leave your thoughts and feelings in the responses.

Sincerely,
G
