My thoughts are amiss
Detached from my being,
No comfort or bliss
Only pain I’m seeing.
My actions speak volumes
And my thoughts usher softly,
Yet the acts of misalignment resume
Leaving me with a false sense of safety.

The endorsement of identity
Being an interchangeable force,
Enhances the problem greatly
Setting up a devastating course.
Not only do you live in falsehood
But you endanger your beliefs,
Creating a whirlpool of frayed wood
That represents your soul and its deceits.

Once you discover the means to your end
You will see the damage you have done,
The deception you call a friend,
Claim your being and unite it as one.
But whether that is good or evil
Is entirely up to your heart,
For to be great, you require a strong will
And that is not the two faced art.

Thanks for taking the time to read this short poem and as always, stay safe and stay humble.

Cheers.
