BONOBO ON THE ROAD
♥ Scientists say bonobos are peaceful apes. They do not compete for food. They live cooperatively and enjoy being together. As a result, bonobos practice empathy rather than dominance and peace rather than violence.
Bonobo is a place where the artists of the Greenhouse and guests can find such conditions. We share food rescued and cooked by volunteers. We also foster a fertile environment for art projects of all forms including performances, music, cinema, and many others ♥
Is there a fertile ecosystem for them in Italy ?

HOST THE BONOBO SHOW
BONOBOS love to perform and spread their voice. Do you want to see them at your place? Connect them with existing events, festivals, open-air, clubs, social projects or just suggest them public areas where “loud basking” would be welcome. Bonobos are self sufficient and can perform from the moving stage (rooftop of the firetruck) or in any indoor hall. The possibility to collect donations is very much appreciated from bonobos who believe in spontaneous cooperation.
CALENDAR
BONOBO ON THE ROAD will officially start the 25th of April from Codigoro (Ferrara — Italy) and will slowly move west. At the present time (April 5th) the plan is not set yet, they will visit the main cities, according to the upcoming proposal. The second half of May they’ll probably be in Piemonte and by June will go south. By the end of the summer, unless they would find in the meanwhile the non-promised land, they are supposed to reach Rome.

NON PROMISED LAND
BONOBO is growing, has been working on food as non limited resource brought them to the new challenge: making space a non limited resource in order to share cultural and artistic contents. Bonobos are very optimistic and believe that such a place exists even if nobody promised it. Main goal of the Tour is to visit cities and country sides until they fall in love with a new habitat.
WHAT IS THE BONOBO HABITAT?
The natural attitude of Bonobo is to re-activate unused resources.
BONOBO transforms Empty Spaces into a self-sustainable model who provides
“Free Food, Art, Cultural Integration and a Peaceful Lifestyle”. Optimal would be a place where they can organize the following areas:
- BONOBO FOOD (min 600 sm.): Bonobo Food is the heart of community, it provides energy to the whole community and its visitors. In the last 2 years more than 100 volunteers has cooked and shared around 50 thousands meals out of rescued food. It consists of: a professional kitchen, accommodations for volunteers, event area and living rooms
- BONOBO LABS (min 500 sm.): Bonobo supports creativity by providing shared spaces for art, social interaction and sustainable development.
- BONOBO HOST (min 800 sm.): The BONOBO Project host a resident community and shares its living space with guests project.
- COURTYARD: Bonobos would be very happy to find a place with a big courtyard to enjoy the sun when it´s shining and to look at with deep thoughts when it´s raining.
CONDITIONS OF THE BUILDING
Unused buildings lacking regular maintenance, industrial sites in urban environment, empty buildings waiting for a destination. Bonobo is willing to clean up the area, fix the infrastructure and take care about ordinary maintenance. Empower the place with alternative energy and develop a fruitful and sustainable environment.
