MY BODY AND MY CHOICES SHOULD NOT BE YOURS, TRUMP!

If I want to have an abortion or not it’s my business, my choice, and the government should not force me into doing what I don’t want with my body.

During an MSNBC interview, the elect president Donald J. Trump responded this to the question about abortion,“Tho I’m pro-life. I’m totally against abortion, having to do with Planned Parenthood. But millions and millions of women — cervical cancer, breast cancer — are helped by Planned Parenthood. So you can say whatever you want, but they have millions of women going through Planned Parenthood that are helped greatly. And I wouldn’t fund it. I would defund it because of the abortion factor.” http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03/31/us/politics/donald-trump-abortion.html?_r=0

By defunding Planned Parenthood services, he will be taking health care benefits away for women that include health exams, birth control, testing, counseling, and many other important services. He would be taking our right to all these benefits just because of the choices we make with our body. This act would force women to look for illegal and unregulated places that practice abortion, putting women’s life at risk. But it seems like that doesn’t matter to our future president.

We have the right to a safe legal abortion.

Women, who’s life is at risk due to the pregnancy would have no choice but to go forth with the pregnancy and die, which most likely the baby and the mother would die, and all because of the “President’s Choice.”

Women or young girls who were raped would also be forced by the government to keep the pregnancy and live through more trauma. By treating women like this, then there wouldn’t be much of a difference between the act of the rapist and the government’s over ruling of the women’s body and choices.

When he was asked about what he would do to women who proceeded with an abortion he said they would get “some form of punishment.” But towards the end of the interview he said that the men who where participating with the act where not going to be punished.

Why would he threaten to punish women, what about men? We are not looking for punishment for anyone, but his believes and differences towards woman are very much clear show that he wants to manipulate us (women) like his puppets, as if we are less than him or men in general.

He says he wants medical health for everyone in the country and then he threatens to take this right from women only. That is not including us or treating us as human like men are being treated. Taking choices and forcing us against our will is not treating us equal.

bell hooks, a feminist writer, states in her book that, “The right of women to choose whether or not to have an abortion is only one aspect of reproductive freedom… feminist focus on reproductive rights is needed to protect and sustain our freedom.” Feminism is For Everybody

Trump’s will to reverse the Court’s ruling on Roe V. Wade will face this: our right and protection that will fight against a man or men that tries to take our reproductive rights. “In January, 22, 1973, the Court determined that the right to terminate a pregnancy was guaranteed by the Fourteenth Amendment’s right to privacy. This ruling gave women the ability to make the decision whether to terminate a pregnancy before “viability” a term used to refer to the first trimester of pregnancy.” https://ballotpedia.org/The_Burger_Court#Major_cases

Donald Trump did not only abuse his freedom of speech to disrespect any one that wasn’t himself, but he wants to put women through force against her happiness and well being. We will not let that happen!

The united states government should step in and teach Trump the Amendments. Women have fought for equal rights. Stop treating women like other than men. We have a choice and a will to fight to be treated like human that we ALL are.
