Majorca, also spelled Mallorca, as in Catalan and Spanish, is the largest island in the Balearic Islands, which are part of Spain and located in the Mediterranean.

I was very lucky to spend some wonderful holidays visiting good friends in Mallorca, as locals they showed me the best of Majorca gorgeous Nature at the countryside!

Hiking from Cas Catala to Bendinat

EL PARQUE NATURAL DE S’ALBUFERA DE MALLORCA

The most extensive wetland in the Balearic Islands, an old lagoon separated from the sea by a cordon of dunes, which for many centuries has been filled with sediments to become a vast floodplain. The natural park of Albufera de Mallorca gives protection to some 1,708 hectares of marshes and dunes. The natural park is home or transit for a wide variety of birds.
