Serra da Estrela, Portugal

Let me introduce myself…

Hello! My name is Inês das Neves and I am excited to be joining!

I am particularly interested in travel, nature and wildlife photography!

Currently working as a PA in Madrid.

Lisbon, Portugal

Growing up between two countries: Portugal and Spain. First years in a little village near Lisbon and now Madrid.

Specialised in sales and marketing, worked for an international hotel group, first as a sales coordinator, and then in the opening of a new big standardised hotel in the center of Madrid.

Years later, I had the chance to work for one of the most important Tourism wholesalers in Spain, and dealt with sales and reservations worldwide, before moving to London. There I had the opportunity to join Res team of a leading tour operator in the center of London. Helping our customers choose the perfect holiday in the Balkans!

Midões, Portugal

While enjoying some holidays in Midões (Portugal), I heard about Stroganov Hotel in Fiais da Beira and went to check the place to meet the owners. I found everything incredibly beautiful, the building style and unusual decoration. The fact that each room is unique made me feel different sensations, and I could imagine guests would enjoy very much some luxurious holidays surrounded by nature in Serra da Estrela, something they have never experienced before: “All you need, in the middle of nowhere”.

I fell in love with the place and joined the project as a PR & Marketing Manager, also dealing sales, distribution, pricing, front desk, recruitment, training and communication strategic planning and execution. And started this blog. Thank you MK!

Since I was a little child I have had a profound interest in learning about other languages and cultures. Fascinated by food, folklore, and storytelling. And that is why I am deeply thrilled to be starting to put my adventures to words and looking forward to sharing the most beautiful places and traditions the world has shown me over the years.
