My Mind
Sonnet

My mind is blank of things it used to be,
Possessed now by a vast sense of infinity.
It is no longer a circus act of its own ignorance,
Is now a blazing trail of a knowledge His.
I woke amongst a few that saw the coming Dawn,
The sun of the east its pale shadow seem.
It has engulfed the numerous spheres on its way,
Godheads from their boyhood to manhood seemed to sway.
All rapture and sunshine in the empty halls of my mind
And hyaline orbs of striding Gods interspersed of delight.
A marshalling light of God leads their pageantry
Towards still vaster and vaster vistas of His infinity.
My mind, which rose into His spirit deathless, is
His probing satellite between earth and immortal heavens.
