A Sunday in Spain

A heartfelt thank you for all the hospitality and warmth enjoyed by this pelegrina along the length of El Camino

They are out, again
this Sunday:
the families,
together perambulating, promenading, discussing, creating, caring,
walks. Discovering their links. Again.
Grandmothers helped into cars, wooden steps thoughtfully provided.

Loving, crossed arms, holding couples.

Dressed infants, in prams or toddling: celebrating, life.
Cafes alive with chatter, and possibilities.
A Sunday in Spain: Burgos, Leon or Santiago? Indifferent to place
they are the sun-warmed,
celebrating life and their time
here on Earth.
