Het Pierebad, Het Beatrixpark, Amsterdam op een winterse dag. Public paddling pool, in the Beatrix Park, Amsterdam on a winter’s day.

The world is not infinite.
A globe of possibilities,
but we do not see
the truth of scarcity.

The kids play in the
pool of hope.
We do not ration
the few, for the many.

If humans were self-regulating:
A bit of this, for that
a balance,
or, a renegotiation of the truth,

but you can’t have one without the other:
we do not see, we do not feel,
we do not listen,
we do not think of horizons.
