Email related security vulnerabilities rank top of the causes of sensitive data breach in companies. And you’d be surprised to know you can do little or nothing about it.

In order to build a seamless experience, most of the products and tools out there share sensitive data in their emails to avoid constant login troubles for the user. Sharing these emails internally or externally might accidentally lead to a data breach.

Someone very recently hacked hundreds of companies like Slack, Vimeo and Yammer through their helpdesk emails. Read more about it below.

We take security and data breach very seriously, hence we took Amber’s email security to the next level. Let’s take a look at how we did that.

1.) Added layer of security to prevent accidental breach

2.) Amber’s Dashboard now has only actionable metrics and insights

As we added more reports to Amber’s Dashboard, we realized how it might have become overwhelming to sift through all these reports and extract actionable items out of it.

The new dashboard will only show actionable reports. You may choose to further deep dive into these reports using the navigation menu on top.

3.) Configure Amber reports to view your desired columns

You will now be able to choose your own set of columns for any Amber report.

By clicking on the columns icon you can access all available columns for the report where you select or deselect columns based on your preference.

This makes it possible to setup reports Manager-wise, Business-wise, Designation-wise and so on.

4.) All emails from Amber are customizable now.

Although emails sent by Amber are specifically designed and optimized for higher open rates and response from the employees.

If you ever feel the need to change the email content of any of Amber’s correspondences to the employees, you can reachout to us with your preferred email content.

Coming Soon: Custom Export and Filtered Overview

Under the works currently is a custom export feature which will allow you to export dashboard data in the format you like. You will be able to choose the columns and filters before you take the data out of Amber’s dashboard.

In the next update, we’ll also talk about how you can see a filtered view of the overview section of Amber’s dashboard. You will be able to see an overview by department, location and more.

Till the next time!
