Instagram has been one of the most useful tools in the art world, both in terms of discovering new artists and highlighting their output. From the outset, Infinite Industries targeted this platform. We spent a significant amount of time and effort in order to create an account that can present artists and their production in a unique and accessible way.
The curatorial vision behind the project shapes the selection of the artists. We get to see their work and peek into their studios.
Last week we hit our first milestone — 1000 followers! Yes, I know this is small in a greater scheme of things. We need to multiply this number at least tenfold to begin to matter in the art world proper (this btw, is on the roadmap for 2017) But… we got to celebrate even small wins!
Thanksgiving is coming up next week here in the US. So in the spirit of this holiday, we wanted to give thanks to all of the viewers who gave us the gift of their attention and to all of the #featured #artists who have made our Instagram effort come to life.
