3 Questions That Will Change Your Life

Adopting new self-help techniques can most certainly change your life.— by ʟᴇᴡɪs ᴍᴏᴄᴋᴇʀ

Adopting new self-help techniques can most certainly change your life.

However, I’ve spent enough time in the industry to realize that self-help can also negatively impact some readers.

Why? Because of overwhelm.

We’ve all seen it. The morning routines, the affirmations, the goal setting, the accountability, the thoughts we “have” to shift, the beliefs we “must” eradicate, the changes we “ought” to make.

It can become overwhelming.

Some of us thrive on overwhelm. Many of us don’t.

With this in mind, the following 3 step questionnaire is designed for those who are most susceptible to overwhelm — and those who are most unclear about their purpose, passion or vision.

These three questions, if answered accurately, will highlight a powerful source of inspiration in your life, and also move you one step toward manifesting your most inspired vision.

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties, and talents become alive, and you discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.” — Patanjali

The 3 Questions:

Question 1: How would you spend your time…

… if you won $100,000,000 cash and $10,000,000 per year in passive income for the rest of your life.

Specifically, what would you do after the 6 month climatisation period? What would you do after you’ve bought the cars and the houses, traveled the world, seen the sights and grown sick of cocktails on the beach?

  • Would you start a restaurant?
  • Would you make furniture?
  • Would you keep traveling?
  • Would you become a sports coach?
  • Would you take up dancing?
  • Would you learn to paint?
  • Would you love to star in a TV show?
  • Would you write a book?
  • Would you become a professional gamer?

How would you spend your time, if money truly wasn’t an object?

Think about this question thoroughly. The answer holds a powerful insight into what drives you in life.

Keep this vision sharp.

Once you know your answer, move on to question 2.

Question 2: What is one step you can take this week to move toward your vision?

Just one.

Don’t make it complicated. Don’t overwhelm yourself with confusion. Just choose one thing you can do this week to move toward your vision.

If you wanted to open a restaurant, here’s some examples:

  • Go to 1 new restaurant and find all the things you love about it and all the things you’ll do better when you open yours.
  • Read an inciteful business book such as The E-Myth by Michael E Gerber.
  • Write out a menu or make a list of some dishes you’d love to serve at your restaurant.
  • Think of a name for your restaurant and register the URL and all the social media accounts!

Question 3: When will you do it?

The one small step.

Schedule it in. Right now. For this week. Take out your calendar, and lock it in. Right now.

Will the step take 10 minutes? Or 1 hour? Or 6 hours?

Book it in. THIS WEEK. When you have a free moment planned, book it in and take action.

That’s it!

They are three questions that can completely change your life. Because after you take that first step, then it’s time to take the second and the third.

The journey of a million miles starts with a single step.
