Part 2: How to Create a New Wallet
Step 1: When you first log into Infinito Wallet, you will be prompted to either create a new wallet or restore a previous one. For this part, we are going to create a new one, so select “Create New Wallet” and agree to the terms shown.
Step 2: Choose a name for the wallet and click “Next”.
Step 3: You will be required to save your backup passphrase. Press “Start Backup” to initiate the process.
Step 4: Here, you will be shown a 12-word passphrase, also known as a “seed”. The recovery phrase is used to restore your wallet in case you lose your phone or forget your password, so keep it safe! We recommend to write it down and store it somewhere secure.
Step 5: Once you have written down your passphrase, confirm it by selecting the correct word order.
Step 6: Finally, set up an adequate password by filling in the gap and click “Finish” to complete the wallet creation process.
Part 3: How to Enable Coins and Tokens
Step 1: After having successfully created a new wallet, you will be brought to its dashboard automatically. As you can see, Infinito Wallet enables four coins by default (BTC, ETH, NEO, and GAS).
Step 2: To enable more coins and tokens, click “+”.
Step 3: Select either the “Coins” or “Tokens” tab depending on your specific needs.
Step 4: Tap on the coins and tokens you wish to enable. For For coins, press “Next” to complete the process. Tokens are automatically added when you click on them.
Note: You will be required to “Enter you password” to connect the wallet to the specific coin blockchain. This once again confirms that Infinito Wallet never stores users’ passwords!
Part 3.1: How to Search for Tokens
Alternatively, there are two additional methods to enable new tokens. The first one is via Search.
Step 1: Inside the “Enable Tokens” window, tap on the “Search” icon.
Step 2: Search for your token either by token name or smart contract address.
Part 3.2: How to Enable Tokens Using the QR Code Scanner
Additionally, thanks to Infinito Wallet’s recent inclusion of “QR Code Scanner”, you can also scan QR codes to enable new tokens.
Step 1: Inside the “Enable Tokens” window, tap on the “QR Code” icon.
Step 2: Scan the special QR code on the official ICO website whose token you wish to add. The official token will be displayed automatically on your screen.
Part 4: How to Disable Coins and Tokens
To Disable Coins or Tokens on your dashboard, simply tap on the checked circle on the right side of their names. You can easily re-enable them by tapping on said circle again.
Part 5: How to Send and Receive Funds
Step 1: To send, receive, or check your balance/activities of a specific cryptocurrency, simply select that currency. The Activity tab will be displayed, showing the transactions of the coin.
Step 2: To send funds, click “Send”. Fill the “Send to” box with the recipient’s address and the “Amount” box with the amount you wish to send. You can also control your transaction fees via the selection of “Economy”, “Regular”, or “Premium” services. Press “Next” to proceed.
Step 3: To receive funds, click “Receive” and simply copy the address displayed in the “My Address” box. This will be your address to receive funds from others.
