Smart phone- An ingenious invention that has become an integral part of our lives; a device that is used for anything from listening to music, online banking and posting wonderful pictures of our daily lives. The convenience that it brings forth has somehow enriches our world. Indubitably, every smart phone users has a number of apps on their phones that they cannot do without.

Well guys, make some space, because Infinitus — The Smart Designation Repository App is coming to your phone! The launch of our INFINITUS Mobile App is approaching fast, so it’s time to discuss some of its features. This is one app to protect your crypto asset that you cannot do without.

INFINITUS Mobile App Overview

In a nutshell, INFINITUS is a smart designation repository meant to protect your private keys, recovery seeds, alphanumeric passwords, mnemonic phrases and other types of byte-sized data. Once the intended input is keyed into the dApp, the private data will be fragmented, encrypted, replicated and distributed over the peer to peer nodes in the decentralized network. In case a predetermined event takes place (say a pre-set inactivity period), a smart contract will be activated, gathering the tiny bit of fragments from across the network, putting it all back together and sending it to your designated receiver.

INFINITUS will compliment your crypto wallet by adding an extra layer of assurance— Normally, crypto wallets can only be restored if you have the private key, recovery seed or mnemonic phrase. As the traditional paper keys are highly perishable. There is always the risk of losing the wallet entirely. With INF dApp, the concern about losing your crypto wallet can be averted even when one loses their phones. When the INF dApp detects inactivity, it will readily start the countdown and will automatically send the private data to your designated receiver once the countdown reaches zero.

Once you download and install the app on your phone, you will be asked to create an account by inserting basic details like username, password, e-mail and a backup e-mail. A verification code will be sent to the email you provided and once you type that into the INF mobile app, you will be all set to go.

You can buy INF Tokens if you don’t already own some, or you can send tokens and you can access your Vault. The Vault is where you can set the parameters for the smart contract, where you could input the name receiver and set the inactivity period. One INF Token will activate one Vault, so basically you will use one token for each ‘package of info’ (mnemonic phrase, recovery seed, etc.) that you want to protect. Considering that our launch price for 1 INF will be 0.0004 ETH( with ETH is at $600 at the time of writing), I’d say that’s a very low price to pay to safeguard your private keys.

The Big Three: Simplicity, Security, Stability!

Simplicity: The mobile app will be the interface between you and the blockchain and although the technology behind it is very complex, we want you to have a seamless experience, without being bothered by any of the tech stuff. Our main goal is to make sure your private data is safe — after all, that is the core purpose of INFINITUS — but we don’t want to give you headaches in the process. That’s why the mobile app is designed with simplicity and user friendliness in mind. Too many apps require you to have some sort of engineering degree to use and we don’t want INFINITUS to be that sort of app. Type in your private data, type in the details of your designated receiver and set an inactivity period. Done!

Security: You will be welcomed by a super-easy to use interface but behind the curtains, the intricate blockchain technology is hard at work, making sure your data is secure. The INF dApp is built on the Ethereum protocol (ERC-20), using a smart contract and File System Distributed Ledger Technology (FSDLT). Once your data is entered into the mobile app, it will be fragmented, encrypted, replicated and distributed across a decentralized network of nodes made up of individuals or organizations that are using INF’s repository services.

We eliminate single point of failure by distributing your data across a decentralized network. Each node will contain bits of data (encrypted using AES1024- a military grade encryption program), but it would be without significance on its own. Thus, if one node is compromised, your data would not be in jeopardy.

Stability: INFINITUS offers continuity for your crypto assets. If something unfortunate were to happen to you, then your crypto would be lost forever but if your private key is protected by the INFINITUS dApp, it will be sent to your wife or kids after the unfortunate event, after the inactivity period expires. You can think of it as a Smart Transfer of Wealth but in either way, it creates a stable environment where you always have control of your crypto.

Projected Timeline

Initially the launch of the INF Mobile App was set for Phase 3, in 2019 but due to the major interest shown by our community, we have fast tracked our tech efforts and have moved the launch to end of June or early July for the Android app and October for Apple. We’re working hard to meet these deadlines, but our primary focus is a well-built, easy to use app, which means that minor delays can happen but in our view, that’s better than to deliver a sub-par product.
