Infinity Arena Zeronium (INAZ) Liquidity Pool on PancakeSwap drained off due to a devious exploit
Last weekend witnessed the most unfortunate incident ever happened to Infinity Arena team. We lost a total amount of more than $30,000 to a scheming fraud (including 66.18 million INAZ and 70.9 WBNB in our liquidity pool on PancakeSwap).
At 03:44:29 PM UTC on August 18, 2023, INAZ/ WBNB liquidity pool on PancakeSwap went almost empty after an unauthorized withdrawal. It was thanks to a dedicated community member who’s been paying a lot of attention and passion to Infinity Arena project for quite a long time, spotted the odd activity, and informed our team.
Upon awareness of the exploit incident, we urgently took action regarding security enhancement and damage constraints.
First of all, we took everything off the mainnet for a thorough check-up.
Then, we made a hard decision to pause INAZ token contract, which immediately resulted in the disruption of all transactions involving INAZ.
Following those initial steps is a more structured & long-term plan relating to a few crucial changes that will affect the whole system at Infinity Arena. Yet, there is not much that we can disclose to the public at the moment. So please excuse us for a little more time before the actual schedule of work is set in stone.
