Never slam the door

I discovered that the two bad ways of leaving a firm is either by been Sacked or by slamming the door when quitting a job.

There are so many reasons why employees get sacked but some employees get sacked due to their inability to control their temperament. Employers sometimes can be annoying but I believe no matter how “rude” or “annoying” your employer is, you should respect the fact that they pay your salary and try not to be hostile to them.

Employees need to learn to study and understand the people they work with, know how and when to approach them. For instance, you should not approach your employer when he/she is upset and try to discuss your personal or official issues.

Also once the activities of a firm is trying to make you compromise your integrity, it is alright to resign but do not slam the door while doing it. Always quit a job with a lasting good impression. Even if the reason why you are about to leave the job is due to a current dispute with your employer or other colleagues, try to settle it and be at peace before leaving. Remember that your next employer may contact your previous firm just to get some comments about you.
