The Real Picture Perfect?

Not everyone is as enduring as how they set out to look like all the time. Ask IC self care influencers on Instagram. And best of all, that’s not always a bad thing.

You see, by not turning into over exhaustion, people are closer to achieve a life where they can be truly content. Whereas pushing yourself too hard would get you nowhere possibly reaching a break point. Small steps in between self care will lift you up and build on your succeed. The question is, how do you stay positive and inspired nonstop? The short answer, you don’t.

As much as you need that momentum in your life, you must first find balance — more like the balance of opposites. Getting fixated on perfection can create blockage which pollutes your life energy and can negatively affect everything and everyone around you. Also when you train your mind to process only one area of your life and emotions, eventually there will be turmoil and a great deal of denials and confusions from the clouded sense of reality.

The takeaway — not everything is all pixie dust, there will be days when it rains and it’s up to you to realize that it’s completely normal.

The balance of opposites is a “way of life” based on Taosim teachings.

“It is a force that flows through every living and sentient object, as well as through the entire universe. When the Tao is in balance it is possible to find perfect happiness.”

Balance of Opposites. That means finding harmony in disharmony. Moreover, in order to have complete satisfaction, one must experience bitterness. In order to succeed, one must fail. And (unfortunately) in order to have love, one must know heartbreak. (Source: http://www.crystalinks.com/taoism.html)

In the lives of entrepreneurs, living in a society where market trends are changing fast and high pressure sets in, the stress will get the best of their judgments. There will be moments of frustration and it is OK, as it is inevitable, all part of the self-development cycle.

When this happens, remember to accept, reflect, and heal. The process of healing is to simply shut down. Like any operating machine, the human body needs to be turned off in order to get fully recharge physically and mentally. Once you’re able to nurture yourself this way, you will be renewed, refreshed, possibly more open in ways you can’t imagine.

A good traveler has no fixed plans
and is not intent upon arriving.
A good artist lets his intuition
lead him wherever it wants.
A good scientist has freed himself of concepts
and keeps his mind open to what is.

Thus the Master is available to all people
and doesn’t reject anyone.
He is ready to use all situations
and doesn’t waste anything.
This is called embodying the light.

What is a good man but a bad man’s teacher?
What is a bad man but a good man’s job?
If you don’t understand this, you will get lost,
however intelligent you are.
It is the great secret
.”
Laozi, Tao Te Ching
