We cannot be more proud and grateful for the opportunity of sharing the story behind the co-design process of the figures we designed with the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) for the summary for policymakers of the Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C (SR15) and on Climate Change and Land (SRCCL).

The episode is available here:

154 | Visualizing Global Warming with IPCC with Angela Morelli and Tom Gabriel Johansen

Creating such reports entails a very complex and orchestrated process that needs to end with a total consensus of all the participating countries. In the show we tell the story of what it takes to generate such reports and handle the complex process of co-designing the figures with a large group of scientists. We shared a set of lessons learned that visualization designers can use.

Thanks to Enrico Bertini and Moritz Stefaner for their tireless and passionate effort of producing the podcast, sharing the experience of so many designers and professionals in the field of data visulization. The show is listener-supported and you can support here on Patreon!
