I’m updating my dashboard to reflect my goals and priorities for the year

I’ve been using Notion for a while now, and now that it’s almost 2023 I’m reworking my home dashboard and preparing for how I want to use Notion in 2023. Here are some of the changes I’m making for the new year:

I have a new 2023 goals dashboard separated by quarters and months. This lets me take each quarter month by month and have individual goals for that month. I also color coded my goals based on learning, health (financial and physical), and social/sharing.

I put each month’s goals up front on my home dashboard so they’re front and center. This way, I can see the goals I want to accomplish during that month and check in with myself on my progress as I move forward. I also have the 2023 goals dashboard page easy to check and reach when I want to see/update my goals on the main page.

I keep my calendar on my dashboard. This has been a game changer for me! I use a widget to import my google calendar into my notion dashboard and this makes it easy to see all of what I have going on each day and I can scroll down and see what’s upcoming. This is only for personal events however, I don’t link any of my work to my Notion.

Lastly, I’ve updated my habits and tasks tracker to reflect my quarterly and yearly goals as well as my personal habits I want to maintain in 2023. Combined with my weekly breakdown for additional tasks/meetings/to do lists, this helps me keep track of my weekly progress towards my monthly goals and I get to see my progress as I proceed through the week + check things off a list (always a great feeling!)

How are you using Notion in the new year? If you aren’t using Notion, what else is working for you to keep track of things in 2023?
