Is Technology Supreme?

Interesting article on India's NSG team's learnings from the terrorist attacks on Israel... one cannot rely on technology alone for protection/security. NSG says its a combination of people and technology.

We can draw parallels in the IT Security area as well...people + technology ensures IT Security and not the technology alone...something to be cognizant of in IT audits where we take into account the sincerity/professionalism/intent of the people implementing/maintaining the Line of Defence 1 controls vis-a-vis the actual technology itself.
