Call for Presenters: Information Development World 2018

We’re bringing Information Development World (IDW) back to the Quadrus Conference Center in Menlo Park, CA, November 27–29, 2018. The event will focus on helping attendees create a modern online technical resource center — a one-stop digital support portal that serves up useful and relevant marketing, technical, support, training, and sales content to both prospective and existing customers.

WANT TO PRESENT AT THIS EVENT?

We’re looking for rockstar presenters who have a great, polished, compelling story to tell — and can do so in 20 minutes flat, without going overtime and without making it a commercial.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR WHEN SELECTING PRESENTERS

Presenters are selected based on relevant subject matter expertise and demonstrated presentation skills. We give preference to those presenters who: submit well-written, concise (yet complete) submissions; commit to delivery of slide decks in advance of the conference start date; work for a brand that is actually doing what they want to talk about (case studies are our favorite content); are willing to teach attendees how to do something they can actually use when they get back to the office.

ABOUT INFORMATION DEVELOPMENT WORLD 2018

Information Development World 2018 is an exclusive, intimate gathering of professionals responsible for content operations — technical, marketing, and product information management pros — folks whose job it is to create exceptional customer experiences with product content.

WE’RE ABOUT QUALITY, NOT QUANTITY

Our last event was rated 8.95 out of 10 stars by attendees because we work to ensure that our presenters have a specific role to play in the event. We’re not like other conferences. We work with presenters to ensure there’s no duplication of message and that all of the presentations complement — and build upon — one another and meet the goals of the event participants. We don’t allow sales pitches and we don’t just stuff the roster full of paying sponsors or all the usual suspects.
