Laravel Portugal Meetup 1st edition will happen in Porto

Laravel has been the framework of preference at Infraspeak in the latest years. We enjoy using it and we’ve always been fortunate to be able to create high-demand and challenging applications with this great framework. For this reason, we are happy to announce the very 1st edition of Laravel Portugal Meetup will be held in Porto and sponsored by Infraspeak.

This meetup is oriented for anyone interested in software development with the Laravel framework and aims to promote networking and knowledge sharing among members. No level of experience is required and talks will be conducted in Portuguese.

Besides topics directly associated with the Laravel framework, the idea is to promote knowledge sharing of related topics such as Infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes), development methodologies (TDD, BDD, DDD), case studies of problem-solving with Laravel and PHP in general.

This 1st edition will be hosted at Porto.io in Santa Catarina street on September 7th, from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm and will include a presentation, some networking time and a coffee break. The topic of the presentation will be about “Handling Polymorphic Relationships using Eloquent ORM on Laravel” and it will be presented by Gonçalo Queirós, Senior Team Lead at Infraspeak.
