We’re thrilled to introduce the maiden cohort of the Ingenii Fellowship. The fellowship is aimed at helping tech enthusiasts with little or no technical experience to learn and gain technical or non-technical hands-on experience. Admitted fellows are provided with courses and a learning guide that give context to their self-learning. This is as they are also assigned mentors, who are seasoned professionals in the Nigerian tech space, to oversee their growth and development during the cohort.

For this cohort, thirteen fellows were admitted into three tracks — Product Design, Product Management and Software Management. Worthy of mention is the fact that the fellows are presently working on a capstone project that will herald their learning and mentorship programme.

We are excited to finally unveil the faces of these enthusiastic lots. They’ll be launching forth into the tech space soonest. You might want to watch out for these ones!

Oreoluwa Ahmed

Oreoluwa Ahmed

Oreoluwa Ahmed is a community manager, a customer support and strategy enthusiast, Personal development consultant, and a product manager. Experienced Community Manager and Customer support with a demonstrated history of working in the technology and social organization industry. Skilled in critical thinking, diplomacy, meetings and planning, and Non-Profit Volunteering, Strong operations Professional with a Bachelor of Art (B.A in view) focused on history and strategic studies from the University of Lagos. Oreoluwa is a serial volunteer. She currently volunteers as a core team member in the following organizations: Goal Digger professional network, Way Network Africa, and She Can Nigeria. Oreoluwa is currently in the Product Management track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Peace Emenike

Peace Emenike

Peace is an Executive Assistant/Front Desk Officer at Albert & Wand Ltd. A fast learner who loves to use her skills to contribute to the development of her firm, she graduated from the University of Lagos in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying. While in school, she developed interest in creative design and started out using design tools such as canva and photoshop. She is She is currently improving her skills to further develop herself. She is currently in the product design track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Praise Ajala

Praise Ajala

Praise Ajala is a tech enthusiast and Front-end engineer. He is currently a student of Animal Science at Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Praise volunteered for the Blockchain Conference, 2021 edition, hosted by the Blockchain Club, OAU. He is ambitious, zealous, and ready to explore and learn. He is very inquisitive when the need arises and is also a critical thinker. He is a good team player and is always ready to assist his teammates whenever he can. He is currently in the software engineering track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Oluwadunsin Falayi

Dunsin Falayi

Oluwadunsin is a tech enthusiast, a fashion lover, and has been thriving in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space. She studied Botany at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Nigeria. Dunsin is also a product manager and is currently working on building products that will improve people’s productivity and farmers’ businesses. She possesses great organizational skills, product management skills, and user empathy. She believes with determination and consistency, you can achieve She is open to connections and opportunities that would allow her to add value to lives. She is currently in the product management track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Phoebe Olawale

Phoebe Olawale

Phoebe Olawale is an open-minded and passionate designer with an interest in Yoruba folk heroes. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Ilorin and is currently in her third year. She has 2 years experience in graphic design and is currently transitioning into product design. She has worked at a radio station as a secretary and partly as a radio host for a music request show. She is a good team player with great communication and adaptability skills. She believes people She should always find a way to make things easier for everyone around them, and she is trying to achieve her part by pushing one design at a time till it makes such an impact on people’s lives. She is a strong believer in the ideology that your mind is your greatest asset, alongside money and empathy. She is also an eclectic music lover who believes music is relative and that it is whatever you call it. She is currently in the product design track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Oluwaseyi Odebola

Oluwaseyi is a front-end enthusiast, a beginner pen tester, and someone who has an interest in technology as a whole. He is currently studying Computer Engineering at the University of Lagos. He is a core believer in the term “Trust God and push harder”. He is open to exploring more opportunities and meeting more people in the African tech space and world at large. Oluwaseyi is in the Software Engineering track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Anjola Adekunle

Anjola Adekunle

Anjola Adekunle is a UI/UX Designer, illustrator and 3D. A student of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta studying Mathematics.

Anjola builds a user-friendly interface that requires little or no supervision and also provides solutions through research to get an excellent service.

She is currently in the product design track of the Ingenii fellows.

Yinka Akanbi

Yinka is a content writer and researcher with considerable experience in the Nigerian media industry. He is an undergraduate at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. His passion for research is what fuels his thirst for creating sustainable solutions. He wants to transition into product management and is currently working on a solution that helps university students buy/sell affordable items within their university campuses without any hassle. He hopes to someday create a solution that will help alleviate poverty across Africa. When he is not staring into his laptop’s screen, he is reading paperback books. He is currently in the product management track at Ingenii Fellows.

Julius Adegoke

Julius Adegoke describes himself as a decent, quiet, and hardworking individual. He is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH). Julius also deals in the sales of gadgets such as laptops, accessories, and laptop repairs. Julius is in the Software Engineering track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Dorcas Olawale

Dorcas is an aspiring software engineer currently delivering great customer experience. She is enthusiastic about creativity, innovation, technology, and creative problem solving. She is eager to learn, grow, and network while having fun in the process. She is currently in the software engineering track of the fellowship.

Abiodun Ayobami

Abiodun Ayobami describes himself as an innovative young man. A graduate of architecture, he is in love with art and good design, which, according to him, is a tool to improve life. His love for art drove him to start creating designs other than buildings. Having practiced architecture for six years, he transitioned into product design. He draws connections between the work that he does and the impact of that work, to ensure that he makes meaningful solutions. Hence, he considers intellectual factors to be the most important factors of life’s production. Hence, don’t take for granted opportunities that would improve and expand his intellectual capacity. If he is not caught designing, researching, reading, and surfing the web. He would definitely be caught discussing finance, investment, policy, and governance. He is currently in the product design track of the Ingenii Fellowship.

Miracle Okafor

has an eye for creativity at large, starting from drawing, acting, singing, and talking. That’s in regards to being funny and modeling. Among all these, one essential thing about him is the fact that he loves to be of help to those who are around him, and the joy it brings opens up his eyes to problem solving. This desire grew so strong that in thinking of how to achieve that purpose, he went for product design, giving music a second place. He is currently enrolled in the product design track of the Ingenii fellows.

Temtope Kuye

Kuye Temitope is a creative young lady who is passionate about business and business growth. Because of this, she has volunteered to work with business owners pro-bono in order to gain business knowledge and insights. As a result of her creativity and also her love of fashion, she created a brand which specialises in crafting items like bags, necklaces, etc. In the same light, her love for making life easier through solving real life problems made her venture into the non-technical aspect of tech — Product Management. Kuye is a graduate of Mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Osun State. She is a great and unique leader who has learned human management in various capacities, most notable of which was her tenure as Vice President of her department. She has been applying this in her dealings with her team members as a Product Manager. Kuye is currently working on building a solution that will help students buy/sell items at affordable prices within their citadel of learning. When she is not glued to her laptop, she is off to be a fashionpreneur, listening to music, reading politics-themed materials, Her Finances are paramount.. Fun fact about Kuye is she is very good with numbers (she loves numbers). She is currently in the product management track of the Ingenii Fellowship.
