As we enter December and sit stunned at just how quickly 2019 appears to have passed us by, we have just enough time to squeeze in a final #FeatureWeek event for you all.
Next week we’ll be launching our #YearInReview week which will provide us and you a chance to look back on key content, experiments and ideas we’ve had and shared this year via our external facing channels.
Each day we’ll be sharing a recap on major initiatives, links to blog posts and updates on experiments we’ve conducted. As you’ve hopefully realized by now we like to explain why we’re doing things here in Product Development and the reason we’re doing a recap next week is: -
- It’s a retrospective technique for us to look back on what we said we’d do, what we actually did and what happened
- Transparency is how we continuously improve, so by sharing this, we may learn something from the community or you may be able to take our ideas and apply them yourselves
- Looking back gives us an indication of our progress across the year, you’ll see this quite clearly in some of the experiments we’ll talk about next week where we suggested ideas as possible experiments at the start of 2019, evolved them into real experiments in teams and later in the year saw them embed as default practices in some of our development teams, warts and all we’ve blogged about the good and the bad of these practices
We’d love you to get involved with us next week in the final #FeatureWeek of the year.
